You may choose to rent a bike from our local partner. A standard road bike
(carbon frame and Shimano ultegra triple
chainring) costs around $260 for this tour. High-end competition bikes may also be
rented for a higher fee.
Notes:
*Dinner is included on the first day. Breakfast is included on the
last day.
*Your tour begins in Avignon in the afternoon of September 24 and finishes the morning of September
29 in Avignon.
*Cancelled flights/trains, damaged/lost luggage, illness or accidents can
happen. NP Adventures takes no responsibilities for such emergencies. We require
that all of our participants purchase good travel health insurance and
assistance; we will ask for a copy of your policy prior to beginning the tour.
*With all the food available, most cyclists have no need for sport supplements.
However, if you are used to a particular sport drinks, gel or bar, we recommend
that you bring it on your tour.
*The support vehicle can transport some participants and their bikes when needed
(mechanical/health problems), but not all of them at once. This tour will
adhere to its itinerary and all participants are expected to be able to ride the
minimum distance/elevation shown in our table. If you prefer a tour with
optional rest days, our Dordogne or Alps tour might suit you better.
*If you are pleased with the services of your guide and/or assistant
guide/driver, a tip at the end of the tour is a good way to show your
appreciation. In hotels/restaurants, tips are not mandatory but tips are always
appreciated for outstanding service.
